Counseling Solutions’ employees with an associate license have completed their master’s level education, been background checked by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), and passed the California Law and Ethics Exam. They are providing therapeutic services under direct supervision by a licensed therapist in order to gain experience. At Counseling Solutions, our Executive Director, Trishanne Lininger, and our Program Manager, Courtney Calkins provide supervision to these employees. Once they complete these required hours, they can apply to be fully licensed clinicians.
